Hall of Fame Banquet

Each year the BCTA honors an Adult by electing them into the Hall of Fame based on individual tennis accomplishments or volunteer efforts.

The BCTA Hall of Fame banquet also acknowledges high school tennis athletes at each of the Brown County schools who show excellent sportsmanship and improvement throughout the season.  In addition, recognition is given to the Adult and Junior team tennis teams that win their local divisions and advance to the State level.  

Dale Hyska, this years BCTA Hall of Fame Inductee, has been involved in tennis since his youth. He has been active with the BCTA Board of Directors for the past 15 years, with positive impacts in the organization. He donates both financially and significant time to BCTA events and junior tennis programs. He assisted in the creation of the adult doubles tournament sponsored by the BCTA.  Most recently, the inductee has been a major contributor to Brown County’s grass roots junior tennis programs. Dale also helped to start local middle school programs in Brown County for teams lacking school sponsorships. He continues to take personal time to hit with, coach, and enthuse Junior High and High School players in the sport of tennis. He maintains his status as a USPTA Certified Teaching Professional. Dale has also participated in and is a strong supporter of USTA leagues, USTA tournaments, and area tournaments...and has won one or two.
